As you can tell from the title, this is my most long awaited review, I've been wanting to do it for a while, and I feel that now, I can finally give an in depth review of it.
First off, i am a major fan of the WWE games series, having owned or played every Smackdown game since it's lowly beginnings on PS1. So this was a game i was really waiting for, and my oh my does it surprise me!
This was the version of the game I got, as it was pretty obvious that it was going to be an excellent game, lets just say, when I saw the shine of the case, my eyes lit up more than anything.
I first went into my ritual of creating my character, entrances and move-sets, as well as making an arena for my character, the creation suite is something excellent, THQ really know how to surprise people in their games, and make them as outlandish as possible while keeping a depth of realism, something of which I love in a game.
I then went through the 'story' mode, named "Road To Wrestlemania", this year's version of it was amazing, it told more of a story, and went through 3 stages, over about 2 years in the WWE calendar (including injuries), the 3 stages are 'Villain', 'Outsider' and 'Hero', the hero stage is what caught me the most, as it brings in your created character of choice, but I won't spoil it more than that.
I then started using WWE Universe 2.0, I didnt particularly bother with this mode last year, and it annoyed me that it was always on, and mixed in with normal quick play matches, this year though, it is a separate entity, with separate title following etc. I'm mainly using my created character, while skipping other matches, unless they are interesting to me. I went through to the first PPV, Royal Rumble, and did the main event match, which my guy won, and guaranteed him a shot at a world title at Wrestlemania, which I could choose, I then went through the next PPV, Elimination Chamber, which my guy didnt really feature to much in.
Then came the fun part, choosing my opponent for the title shot, I had the choice between CM Punk and Christian (I think), I chose CM Punk as he was on my guy's show, and it would be the most fun for me.
We then went through week on week of feud building, with CM Punk joining forces with Mason Ryan, and John Cena, who was my friend long before this, helping me out, until we got to the moment...
This picture was a perfect reminder of what was about to happen to me. The match went back and forth, blow being traded endlessly, until I hit my finisher, that was it, this happened...
Yup... my guy became champion! needless to say he kept it for a while, going through various matches keeping the title.
Its games like this that make me smile, and really enthrall me into playing more and more, I adore the game, minus the bugs it has, but they will be worked out in the near future, hopefully. I love the game so much, I'll give it a 9/10, it isnt perfect, for the reason of Online play being a bit borked, and some of the animations going balls up, but my passion for wrestling games sees through such flaws.
Not sure at what I will do next on here, could be anything at any time, but for now, that's it... IF YA SMELLLLLLALLALALALAL... (I'm not even gonna finish that... The Rock is too great to steal lines from)
From Gaming, to TV shows, my life will be reviewed here, and my ramblings will remain in this blog

Unscripted Uncharted 3 Review
I never thought I would do another review until WWE 12 came out, but I was horribly wrong, I have recently relived a game that holds the passion I have for my PS3, the game that some may say is the flagship game for the console, Uncharted 3.
The game follows on from the events of Uncharted 2, which I thought to be an excellent game with amazing graphics and a truly gripping story, I made sure for this game to not go through any videos of the game, I wanted to see the story myself, in person, and it was one of the best choices I ever made! The story in the game is something you would expect from a blockbuster movie release, and the attention to graphics, although jittery (Cutter, I'm looking at you and your spasm here) is very top notch!
Being a proud father, there are times when I wish to get away from it all and jump into an immersive game, and Uncharted 3 opened up its hands gladly and gave me a warm hug, while stealing my heart, and a game space in my Lovefilm collection too.
I'm not going to even start giving an insight into the story, as it would give it away, but if you own a PS3, i highly suggest you buy the game, and play the thing! Hell, get the whole series and play from the first game! I have never seen such a mastercraft in telling a story, it brings films like The Dark Knight and Inception to shame, and with it being a game, that makes it all the more exciting for me.
Overall I give the game a 9.5/10, not quite a perfect game, the controls are a bit simple, but for the story alone, it is worth every bit of money you have!

My Life So far...
Ever had the feeling of not wanting to do anything at all?
That is the exact situation I am in now, everything I enjoy seems a bit dull to me, I've gone back to old games Ive got to try and bring some fun into my life, I am now a full Reddit addict, trying to get a spark of a laugh out of the site and other people's misfortunes or witty comments. Even writing this seems a bit dull to me, but I feel it needs to be done, to create some form of closure on this stage of my life.
I recently went through a horrible time in my life, losing my fiancée over an argument (we have since got back together) and not being able to find a job (which is really peeing me off now). Life seems pointless to me, I'm even trying to get out the house to take my mind off everything, but no money can blow that right out the water.
This will only be a short post for now, as I seriously cannot think of anything else to say... I can only wait for WWE 12 to arrive on my door, maybe that will rekindle some of my passion for gaming... from what I played of a demo it looks to be amazing!
For now, this is it, goodbye, and I (hopefully) look forward to posting a hell of a lot more.

Dead Island Review (Insert witty good or bad line here)
Dead Island is always a game I didn't follow too much, unsure of what to think since the reveal trailer. I have always considered it a Left 4 Dead and Dead Rising ripoff, but I was mistaken greatly, as I will try to get across now.
Firstly, lets TRY and explain the game, you can choose one of four characters; Logan, Sam B, Xian and Purna, I chose Logan, as he is the common White guy that is normally in games like this, and the all rounder of the group. I have only played single player in this game, but there is a 4 player co-op mode within the game. You are based on the island of Banoi (yeah, like THAT isn't a ripoff of Hanoi?) that has been overcome by a virus that has somehow made everybody undead, and for some reason, you are part of the cure, the ones that although being attacked also, cannot be turned into a zombie, so you become a prime target for everyone, to get the cure, meet others that havent turned, and to save the island. I won't spoil the story in case you haven't played it.
The gameplay, from what I have experienced is second to none, the zombies are actually smart! They sometimes wait in a dead looking position, waiting for you to get near before they strike, you also encounter various special types of zombies, my personal favorite being the Butcher variation.
Graphics are also very well done, but having played it on PS3, and texture loading times taking ages, that is a bit of a let down, but considering most companies have a tendency for making PS3 graphics lower than the Xbox counterparts, I keep letting this slip by.
Overall, I quite like the game, having not experinced the multiplayer aspect, I cannot comment on it, but overall, I give the game 7/10, mainly due to the fact that the graphics are poor.
Not sure when my next post will be and what it will be about, but I will probably review WWE 12 eventually, when I have played it fully, and not some demo.
Stay Frosty and Enjoy Life :)

My Thoughts about WWE (And Wrestling In General)
Right, as a friend of mine did this, I thought I'd share my views on something dear to me, Professional Wrestling.
Firstly, let me say I adore the storylines that are around at this time within the companies that I watch (WWE and TNA) but they are getting shallow and repetitive to me. After actually trying out wrestling, in which i gave up due to my insane unfit state, I can understand that some shots can hurt if done in the wrong way, and those chairs, they seem pretty real enough to me.
I like wrestling for the sheer thrill of the violence factor and the possibility of a brutal match, for example, I strive to watch events such as TNA Lockdown or special WWE PPVs with stipulations that involve weapons, and although many people think wrestling is fake, I am fully aware of this, and can say that although storied like a soap opera, there can be accidents that can lead to fatalities. The reason WWE say "Do Not Try This at Home" is exactly my point being shown at full.
The storylines in WWE at this time, with the walkout due to happen and Triple H not backing down from COO duties (at the time of making this post) seems to be very well thought out and ready for Vinnie Mac to return and re-take the company, also on Smackdown, making Mark Henry the champion is a great move, as Vengance is coming right round, and rumours are that Undertaker will be returning that night, some even say with his "American Bad Ass" persona, which in my opinion was his best besides the Lord of Darkness persona. Although that sounds farfetched and possibly unreal, I personally am hoping that Undertaker returns and makes Smackdown more thrilling again, while over on RAW, as much as I prefer the chaos of Triple H being COO, having Vince McMahon as a day to day runner is much better.
While all this is happening on that side though, TNA Wrestling are using Hulk Hogan (finally) to their advantage, somewhat trying to perceive him as a babyface that doesnt want to face Sting at Bound For Glory, although that match would be a classic, especially with the gimmick they have for Sting at this time, but as much as I respect Hulk and his career, I want him to take a back seat, like he originally was put in TNA to do, I want Dixie Carter to have her company back, and Jeff Jarrett to be a decent chap again, not an asshole, even though he founded the company, doesnt mean he has to be a tool to everyone, and be the person he probably is outside of wrestling.
TNA has always had that "Fan Interaction" feeling that WWE could only grasp at during the "Attitude Era" and at the moment, it seems like the mainpoint for TNA is slipping, for example, I am a firm believer that the 6-Sided Ring TNA originally had was way better than the 4-sided variant, and made for more high risk stunts from guys like Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles.
TNA has also got the ace for me with their main match for Lockdown each year, Lockdown is a fully cage based PPV, but the one match, the Lethal Lockdown match, is always a bloody massacre, no matter who is in it, someone bleeds and someone does something crazy on the cage top that is lowered to begin the match, it reminds me of the WCW War Games days, and how much it has moved on since.
Anyway, I could, like my friend, carry on all day about this subject, but I dont want people being bored now do I, so Bye for now!

F1 2011, Good Racer or Crash Test City?
For a game that is fully based around a simulation of fast cars and sharp nerves, You'd expect F1 2011 to crash and burn like many that have come before it, but as proven from the incarnation beforehand, this game is actually quite a thrilling and gripping game.
F1 2010 had many awards under its belt, so 2011 has a lot to look up to, and boy does it captialise on success, made by the lovely lads and lasses at Codemasters Birmingham, this game is perfect in every way for a gamer that loves Formula 1 and the thrills it gives with each race.
This incarnation of the game adds the new rules and regulations of the actual 2011 season, which include DRS and the return of KERS, it also stays true to the sport in the tyres, every set of tyres are Pirelli made, and the differences from last year are astonishing, the cars handle totally differently from 2010, and driving 10 million pound cars at 200 mph can unnerve even the most hardcore player.
Multiplayer this year hosts a full 24 person grid, 16 taking up human slots and the rest covered by AI, also within Multiplayer is the new Co-Op Championship, where you can team up with your best mate and make the most thrilling races even more thrilling still.
Overall, the game is an amazing representation of the real sport, and fun can be had by even the most novice drivers. and although the game doesnt have much in terms of a tutorial, it can be easily picked up, just be careful not to run the car into the nearest wall at over 200 MPH. I give the game an 8/10, this leaves room for the game to improve even more, and I look forward to 2012!

Hello and Welcome, Gears Of War 3 Review
Right, this is a first for me, so don't expect much, just my ramblings about various games I have played.
Ill start with a review on Gears Of War 3.
For those that don't, Gears 3 is the third game in the series, and follows Marcus Fenix's struggles to find his dad, while taking on various swarms of enemies from Locust to the new Threat, The Lambent. Fenix is part of what is called the COG, The Coalition Of Ordered Governments, for more info on the game and it's past, it would be easiest to actually google the information.
In my opinion, I find the game the same as the previous two in the series, but with more characters and more story to follow, Multiplayer can be a burden to most games like this, but Gears 3 adds the factor of such modes as "Horde" and the new "Beast" mode, Horde is simply facing various rounds of AI based enemies using the COG, and was introduced in Gears 2, this year sees an improvement in way of being able to build turrets and blockages, which I personally find a good touch to such a mode that has great potential to do great things. Beast mode on the other hand is my favorite of the two new modes, in short, think Horde mode, and flip it on its head, so you play the enemies, the Locust. Although there are only 10 rounds in Beast compared to 50 in Horde, Beast is way more thrilling and fast paced.
Multiplayer is pretty much what you would expect for a game such as this, there is a dedicated base of cheaters within games, which can dampen the spirits of what the game is trying to achieve, but besides that, there can be times where you can have an amazing match with a great bunch of guys and gals that just want fun.
Im going to finish by giving Gears 3 a 7/10, It should be higher, but its more of the same, the story is enthralling though, so that is why it is so high scored for me, without the Story, it would jump down to a 5 or 4 out of 10, and the only saving grace to it is Beast mode.
Hope this has been helpful, and I hope to give more opinions of games I have played.
