For a game that is fully based around a simulation of fast cars and sharp nerves, You'd expect F1 2011 to crash and burn like many that have come before it, but as proven from the incarnation beforehand, this game is actually quite a thrilling and gripping game.
F1 2010 had many awards under its belt, so 2011 has a lot to look up to, and boy does it captialise on success, made by the lovely lads and lasses at Codemasters Birmingham, this game is perfect in every way for a gamer that loves Formula 1 and the thrills it gives with each race.
This incarnation of the game adds the new rules and regulations of the actual 2011 season, which include DRS and the return of KERS, it also stays true to the sport in the tyres, every set of tyres are Pirelli made, and the differences from last year are astonishing, the cars handle totally differently from 2010, and driving 10 million pound cars at 200 mph can unnerve even the most hardcore player.
Multiplayer this year hosts a full 24 person grid, 16 taking up human slots and the rest covered by AI, also within Multiplayer is the new Co-Op Championship, where you can team up with your best mate and make the most thrilling races even more thrilling still.
Overall, the game is an amazing representation of the real sport, and fun can be had by even the most novice drivers. and although the game doesnt have much in terms of a tutorial, it can be easily picked up, just be careful not to run the car into the nearest wall at over 200 MPH. I give the game an 8/10, this leaves room for the game to improve even more, and I look forward to 2012!

Hello and Welcome, Gears Of War 3 Review
Right, this is a first for me, so don't expect much, just my ramblings about various games I have played.
Ill start with a review on Gears Of War 3.
For those that don't, Gears 3 is the third game in the series, and follows Marcus Fenix's struggles to find his dad, while taking on various swarms of enemies from Locust to the new Threat, The Lambent. Fenix is part of what is called the COG, The Coalition Of Ordered Governments, for more info on the game and it's past, it would be easiest to actually google the information.
In my opinion, I find the game the same as the previous two in the series, but with more characters and more story to follow, Multiplayer can be a burden to most games like this, but Gears 3 adds the factor of such modes as "Horde" and the new "Beast" mode, Horde is simply facing various rounds of AI based enemies using the COG, and was introduced in Gears 2, this year sees an improvement in way of being able to build turrets and blockages, which I personally find a good touch to such a mode that has great potential to do great things. Beast mode on the other hand is my favorite of the two new modes, in short, think Horde mode, and flip it on its head, so you play the enemies, the Locust. Although there are only 10 rounds in Beast compared to 50 in Horde, Beast is way more thrilling and fast paced.
Multiplayer is pretty much what you would expect for a game such as this, there is a dedicated base of cheaters within games, which can dampen the spirits of what the game is trying to achieve, but besides that, there can be times where you can have an amazing match with a great bunch of guys and gals that just want fun.
Im going to finish by giving Gears 3 a 7/10, It should be higher, but its more of the same, the story is enthralling though, so that is why it is so high scored for me, without the Story, it would jump down to a 5 or 4 out of 10, and the only saving grace to it is Beast mode.
Hope this has been helpful, and I hope to give more opinions of games I have played.
